my thoughts on #jesuischarlie
… of course no one deserves to be massacred over a sketch, cartoon, or freedom of speech, and no one has the right to judge your own perspective on life or opinion about something, someone, religion, politics, or anything else.
but to be honest, do you think it was very “NICE” of someone to mock Islam in such a way? do you think it was “RESPECTFUL” to draw or manifest such a caricature of a Prophet? do you think it was “ACCEPTABLE”?
if it’s something i have learned in my lifetime, is to respect others opinions and point of view regarding what i believe in. anyone has the right to say what they want about Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, but i don’t think anyone has the right to go about such mockery and approach their view to the world in such a way because even your “freedom of speech” has a limit when you are about to cause something so disturbing and chaotic.
i also pity such ignorance. ignorance from both parties. whether the “terrorist” or the “cartoonist” . for the cartoonist: i simply don’t respect you. and for the terrorist: like Islam needed to be shown in such a brutal matter more than it is already being demonstrated by other so called Muslims. It’s sad that so many don’t know the true religion of Islam. It’s such a beautiful religion that people misinterpret it because we have such ignorant Muslims pretending to follow in the Prophet’s footsteps.
if my message was ever sent around, here is what i have to say: Shame on the person who created such a disturbing image of the Beloved Prophet. I simply say that was very disrespectful and disgusting of him. And shame on the Terrorist who responded in a brutal way as a defense. If one calls him/herself a Muslim, he/she should have passed thru every religion before calling him/herself a Muslim, and no religion in my knowledge allows any of the act/massacre/killing that has happened.
I will defend neither because both, in my opinion, are criminals of a vulgar and gruesome act.
